Why pay for the same thing twice? No new Anaesthesia machine ever comes complete with all of the required patient monitoring equipment included. Hospitals and clinics are required to spend many thousands of dollars to purchase additional monitors to complete the package. Often times, the basic monitoring functions that come built into the new Anaesthesia machine are duplicated in the monitors purchased separately and are therefore redundant from the start.

The only difference between a good refurbished Anaesthesia machine and state of the art technology, is the limited patient monitoring built into the machine. The basic science of delivering Anaesthesia has not changed over the years. We strongly advise our clients to invest in a good refurbished Anaesthesia machine and purchase new state of the art monitors. Good refurbished equipment will give fifteen to twenty years of service at one quarter the cost of buying new technology.
